    Why I hate the KHL…

    By Bethany | July 10, 2008

Back off Nikita Filatov.  Does this quote make any sense to anyone?

“Even given that the term of Filatov’s contract with CSKA had expired, it was still a valid contract,” Medvedev went on, adding that “a contract is terminated only when negotiating an indemnity amount” under Russian law. “This did not happen. And I understand that neither his family nor the NHL club has yet demonstrated the willingness to pay compensation.

“CSKA has invested their money in Filatov’s training,” he said. “Therefore we’re not issuing a transfer card to Nikita. And it means he will not be able to play either in Columbus or in the junior leagues.”

    K.H.L. President Alexander Medvedev

He flat out states the contract is up, but apparently that doesn’t matter.  We owe them money because they trained him, and paid for that, oh my.  Shut up and stick to the money hungry players (Jagr I’m lookin a you), and leave our guys alone.  By the way, enjoy Emery.

And, yes this is an angry post.

That Russkie D-Bag is talking out of his Trotsky.

Filatov will be here by September.

I’m glad you call it the KHL too, we have enough CHLs running around without another one.

The Russians just blow me away. It’s almost as if they are trying to see how crazy they can be before somebody locks them up. The NHL will probably see a lenghty bill in the near future detailing expenses that the Red Army team had when they traveled here in the 70s to get their asses kicked by the Flyers.

Pinpoint ~ I sure hope so.
Nate ~ LOL, ya really, I don’t think that they’re going to get anything, I mean there’s no transfer agreement so Filatov can just come over there is no punishment.
      JMoon ~ I heart Angel Face :)

They’re just talking smack, but this type of shit needs to stop. I don’t think I can stand anymore of this NHL/KHL battle; it’s pissing me off. And besides, there’s a transfer agreement as of today so SCREW OFF OLD RUSSIAN MEAN PRESIDENT DIRT BAG MAN! ?o??? ?? ???! Say it Nikita right to his face, “?o??? ?? ???.”

Do you speak Russian?! How would I pronounce that?!

I speak a moderate amount (have trouble writing and reading though) and you pronounce it just like that: (Posh-Ohl Na Who-ee). It should be spelled like this though: Click to view.

Nikita settled his Russian contracts and signed one with you. The KHL (in accordance with the transfer agreement) should respect that.
