The All Star Game

The All Star Game is this weekend, on Saturday, January 26 at 7 they are having the Super Skills contest, then on Sunday, January 27 at 6 pm the All Star Game will air. Both the eastern and western conferences will be without their starting goaltenders (West Luongo East Brodeur). Sidney Crosby will also miss the All Star Game due to a high ankle sprain, and apparently everyone thinks this is the end of the world. Crosby is not hockey. The NHL does have a future even without Crosby. He’s a good hockey player but he is by no means the god of hockey. In a strange turn of events, Scott Niedermayer, yes the man who couldn’t decide if he wanted to retire or not is in the All Star Game…uh…why you may ask? I don’t really know. I didn’t do the voting.
