Rick Nash, All Star

Oh Rick Nash, how I adore you. In case you didn’t know the lone Blue Jacket representative. He was also just named a Starter in the All Star game, filling in for Henrik Zetterberg who is missing the game due to injury. Nasher will be on a line with Jarome Iginla and also Pavel Datsyuk. I am almost positive he won’t be on that same line the entire game, he will see some playing time with Big Joe Thornton. Rick Nash only participated in the Elimination Shootout. He was blocked by Vokoun fairly easily. All in all it was a pretty fun evening starting with the red carpet and going all the way up to the main event. The Young Stars were pretty amazing. Having Manny mic’d up was pretty much the greatest thing I have ever heard in my life. The highlight was when Backstrom held onto the puck for a good 10 seconds before making a move and after he skated off Manny went “time limit, time limit” hilarious. I’ll be sure to put the youtube up…if it ever gets up. Now, I think it would have been funnier if Pazzy was mic’d…he is crazy. Anyway, that’s all for now!
