Red Wings 2 Penguins 1 Game 4
By Bethany | June 1, 2008
The Red Wings are now up in the series 3 games to 1. The Penguins scored first on the power play, a goal from from Marian Hossa. Lidstrom was able to tie it up. The Pens seemed to back off in the first, only throwing 9 shots at Chris Osgood.
The second period was extremely boring, or maybe I just had too much on my mind. Whatever the case, no goals were scored, no fights happened, and only two penalties were called.
The third period was better, with Jiri Hudler scoring the go ahead goal, and eventually the game winner. I do feel bad for the Penguins, they put up a great effort. Marc Andre Fleury played a great game, and stopped 28 out of 30 shots that he faced.
My thoughts on the game, the Red Wings are the better team. And, tomorrow, we will see the first European Captain raise the Stanley Cup. Go Wings go. I am very ready for the season to be over, and for the off season to begin. The Draft is soon and then free agency!
