Playing mom is tough…
By Bethany | March 11, 2008
- Alright, well I worked today, and then headed over to my best friends house who just had a baby, and helped her out, I AM TIRED!!! Who would have thought that a ten day old would be so much work?! And, that they would be so gassy…sheesh.
- There is a really great article on the Jackets website about the leadership, it’s a great read, so go read it.
- Quote of the day comes from Truth Serum:
What did piss me off were some of the comments about the Columbus organization. So here I go: Colorado fans, we here in Columbus are doing something that you didn’t have to do and that is building a team from scratch. We didn’t have the luxury of a team spending ten years getting the kinks worked out and then relocating to our area. No, we don’t have any banners hanging in our rafters nor do we have a Joe Sakic. It will take a few more years before we can hang something and I think Rick Nash or Pascal Leclaire will be regular all-stars, maybe as good as Sakic. But the team tried to sign Adam Foote and then when they couldn’t, they granted his request and sent him to you. A writer for The Dispatch is the person who published an account of the Foote escape, not Scott Howson or John McConnell.
- The Cincinnati Cyclones have won 21 home games in a row…Jackets should maybe try to do that.
- Elise got published!!!!!!!! Color me jealous.
- Fan girl vs puck bunny. Read this post by Double D(ion) and then listen to the I’m Not a Puck Bunny podcast.

Well I was going to tell you that it gets easier as the kid gets older but since I have been up since 3:30am with a puking 10 year old, that might just be a lie. Off to make more coffee….
