    Not a nice blog.

    By Bethany | February 14, 2008

DISCLAIMER:  THIS IS NOT GOING TO BE A NICE POST IF YOU ARE OFFENDED BY HARSH LANGUAGE PLEASE DO NOT READ ANY FURTHER.

The team played pathetic.  No one had any emotion.  Nobody cared.  Light the Lamp had an interesting stat up…since Shelley left the Jackets are 1-3-3.  I’m not saying he’s the reason why we’re losing.  But there is for sure something missing in our line up…regardless of what people say…he was a locker room guy..and one of the best at that.  AND I MISS HIM DAMN IT!!

Gilbert Brule was the best player of the game.  That being said…that’s pretty pathetic.  Dick scored his first goal as a Blue Jacket…I like him more and more and more every single time he hits the ice.  But I still miss Glencross.

Hitch said it best when he said this:

“We gave the puck away for the first five goals – pretty simple. We had the puck on our stick and we either gave it away or we were checked off the puck. We turned it over in critical spaces all night – it doesn’t lead to winning hockey.”

“I’m surprised we played the way we did. With what was at stack, I’m surprised by the lack of emotion and intensity… disappointed too.”

“This was a total team effort.”

It was a total team effort.  We all played like shit.  It is the end of the playoff run…let the sell off begin.  That being said Howson is meeting with Foote’s agent today.  We’ll see how that goes.  If anyone has anything to add…put it in the comments please.

Also, please go listen to the “I’m not a Puck Bunny” podcast!
