I honestly can’t get enough of this kid, and that’s not a bad thing, that’s a very very good thing. I have watched the youtube clips over and over and over. Puck Daddy seems to think he’s not a good fit for the Jackets…maybe he hasn’t watched this clip:
Listen to what Jim Nill says about him. “Total package.” He can do anything, and has the potential to be a star for the Jackets perhaps even passing our beloved Captain, Rick Nash. Nikita Filatov, was the best player available, he will be in the Jackets uniform for quite sometime. He may even make the team out of training camp…MAYBE. He has the talent. He has the passion. And, he is ready to come to North America, and Blue Jackets fans are ready for him. Is it hockey season yet?

Oh little Filly (I am redefining the word), put your clothes back on. Old ladies will look at you and get funny feelings, and you do not even have any body hair yet.

PS. Does your team draft by looks. Let’s add Brassard and Legein to that ‘boy band’. Brassard will be the smart one and Legein will be the dreamy bad boy. We need 5 boys for a boy band!!! Who else can we add?

I kinda like Gilbert Brule for a boy band member. He has a sorta boy next door quality. This new Cody kid maybe….but I am not sure where he fits in. We could put one of Nash, Boll, or Fritsche in there but they would need a ‘role’. What is their Character?

Columbus grabbed Russian Nikita Filatov, who might be a little too cute to be an impact NHLer. He’s fast, skilled and seems determined to play in the NHL right away, but he’s also prettier than many of those hot Russian tennis chicks.
