Let’s talk about those Blue Jackets

Image via WikipediaI miss writing about them. I miss seeing them on the ice. I miss being in Columbus for games and walking around Nationwide…and seeing Hitch behind the bench. Sigh. Anyway, there is a little bit of news in the CBJ world.
First of all there was a report that contract talks between Pascal Leclaire and the CBJ are not going well. This was denied of course by Scott Howson who made it clear that talks have not started. He did however confirm that he has sent a few offers to Leclaire and his agent to look over and get back to him. Howson also told the Dispatch that he expects to hear from Leclaire’s agent, Don Meehan before the end of the week. Jackets fans, fear not, Pazzy will be signed.
Also, there was a minor league trade yesterday between the CBJ and the Boston Bruins The Jackets gave up the rights to Matt Marquardt, for defenseman Jonathan Sigalet. I am ready for the REAL off season stuff to go ahead and get started. It’s going to be eventful!!

I too miss the boys- but glad hockey season happens in the winter when life isn’t so crazy.

Matt is kind of a two face. When he does not look cute he looks like a mean bully.
Oh well, you still have Brassard to fill the young cutie quotient.

One of my girlfriends dates a Rick Nash look-a-like. He is hugely tall, Nash-y looking and 5 years younger than her. She thinks he is cuter than Nash.
