Let’s check in with my boys…

DEVIN SETOGUCHI ~ In seven games played he has two assists, eight penalty minutes, and is a -2. Not exactly the kind of stats that are going to get him BACK to the NHL. Sigh, I suppose I will have to wait a bit for him to come back, but it’ll be well worth the wait.
DERICK BRASSARD ~ He missed quite a few games due to an injury but is now back, he has 5 goals and 18 assists, in 19 games, and is a -4. Good to have him back, he is now playing on a line with Gilbert Brule and Derek MacKenzie.
AARON ROME ~ In 21 games with the Syracuse Crunch he has two goals and 11 assists. He is a -2 with 54 penalty minutes. The thing I love about Romer is that he’s not afraid to stand up for his teammates the kid is a leader, and if you’ve ever seen him play, you know what he is capable of.
ALEXANDRE PICARD ~ After an injury that kept him out of the line up at the beginning of the season he has now played in 17 games and has two goals and eight assists and is +1 with 33 penalty minutes. The highlight for me with this kid was last season, when they played the Nashville Predators, Picard took a hard hit into the boards and Shelley came to stand up for him, Picard was seen crying in the middle of the scrum, don’t believe me? Come over, it’s on DVR.
BARRET EHGOETZ ~ In 32 games played with the Cincinnati Cyclones Barett has 12 goals and 25 assists, and is a +22 with 10 penalty minutes. Ehgoetz is an absolute beauty to watch, he has the skill and the want, he gives it his 100% every night.
CORY URQUHART ~ The kid has too much confidence, WAY too much confidence, he doesn’t have the talent to back it up. But, when he does play, with his heart, he’s great, in eight games he has five goals and three assists. He has been up and down between the Cyclones and the Hamilton Bulldogs.
CHAD STARLING ~ My big blue liner, the Captain of the Cincinnati Cyclones, he is an absolute monster, of all the games I’ve been to I don’t think that he’s ever left the ice on a penalty kill. He’s amazing, in 30 games he has 0 goals and nine assists, with 42 penalty minutes, and a +18.
DOV GRUMET-MORRIS ~ The kid is 13-2-0-1 with a GAA of 2.20 and a save % of .910 and is currently 4th in the ECHL for goaltending.
CEDRICK DESJARDINS ~ Leading the ECHL in goaltending, he is 9-3-1-0 with a 2.02 GAA and a save % of .922
JEAN-MICHEL DAOUST ~ Is leading the ECHL in goal scoring, in 31 games played he has 25 goals and 20 assists and 46 penalty minutes.
