Well, I now have a computer and am going to be blogging regularly from now on. Let’s get some things out of the way first. The Blue Jackets started off with an amazing win over the Phoenix Coyotes, thanks to Rick Nash and his spectacular goal. Then we headed to Dallas dominated the play, but couldn’t beat their goalie, Mike Smith. Then the Blue Jackets went to Denver and just couldn’t get the win. We lost to Dallas and Colorado 3-1. We have a game tomorrow night against the Dallas Stars again. Let me just say, I am SO sick of the Stars and will be grateful when this series is over, which will be tomorrow. There is no excuse for us NOT to beat the Stars, they aren’t THAT good of a team. Let’s be completely honest, Turco, is a joke, he chokes in the playoffs every year. Smith, has the talent but putting on that disgusting green jersey, makes him nasty to me.
Duvie Westcott has been sent down to Syracuse. It is expected that they will put him on re-entry waivers, but that remains to be seen. I suppose it’s for the best, he hasn’t been playing his best hockey as of late, and well, we need the old Duvie back. I hope for him that he is successful down there, and does well. Speaking of Syracuse no word yet on whether Brule will be called up. Howson had this to say to the Dispatch,
“We’re going to talk (today),” Howson said. “He has played very well. He has worked hard, scored some goals, created some (scoring) chances.
“He has played well in all situations, and the coaches are pleased with him.”
But Howson wouldn’t tip his hand.
“When Gilbert is ready and we feel it’s the right time,” he said, “we’ll bring him back.”
I don’t expect Brule to be up anytime soon. The team, has been playing well the way it is now, that being said, it depends on whether we are a buyer or a seller at the trade deadline, if we’re a seller, I’d say he is traded away or he is back up after we sell people off. But, that is of course my opinion.
Now, onto my happy news!! SETOGUCHI GOT CALLED UP!!! I am pumped, his first game back he got a goal, so let’s just hope that he continues to play well, and will be up when the Sharks come to town on February 27!!!! So, I am so happy to see him…I will be making the journey up to Columbus to cheer my boys on and of course my Setoguchi.
Also, another happy news, Brassard got his FIRST NHL POINT!! Wooo, we’re still waiting on that goal Russell, it’s coming, you know it! Anyway, that’s all for now, I have a paper to type, so if I get done you will hear much more from me, if not, well, then you won’t.

oh hunnnnn!!!! TAKE DOWN DALLAS! exact a little revenge for me! that way, if/when the ducks win over detroit on wednesday, we can claim back the top pac div slot!!! down with the starsssss! i dislike mike modano… but sorry, i like turco. i think he’s funny. lol.

Ummm.. Texas!
But in all serious in the 90’s the Stars, Avs and Red Wings were the big 3 in the West. It’s my moral obligation not to like them.
