Brule sent down
By Bethany | January 2, 2008
Gilbert Brule was sent down to Syracuse today, which totally sucks for him but it’s best for his development, and it doesn’t come as that big of a surprise. Brule hasn’t been producing like he should be and it’s not his fault, he wasn’t NHL ready last year, and well it’s for the best. We’ll see him soon enough I’m sure.

I thought he was doing fairly well. That kinda sucks for him, but he should thrive at the AHL level with the NHL experience he has.

I think he needs the experience, he’ll be back up soon enough. He hasn’t been producing this year, and he should be…Brule will be an elite player eventually but it will take time.

Its always frustrating to see a player you like sent down, even when you know its “good for them”. I saw that with Mike Green last year but this year, he is rocking the Caps.

I know, I’m updating on him in my post today, it won’t be too long that he’s down there.
