Back to it…

The Blue Jackets beat the Carolina Hurricanes 4-1 last night, Zherdev had an amazing night with two goals and two assists. Anyone who doubted Zherdev was proved wrong in the dying seconds of the game Z could have gone for a hat trick but made the smart play and passed it to Beech, and Beech got the goal. I am so thankful that we didn’t trade away Zherdev last season or over the summer, he’s becoming that dynamic player we all knew he could be. Zherdev is on pace for 32 goals and 34 assists, not too shabby.
Leclaire played excellent last night as well stopping 23 shots, he came so close to getting a shutout. He made some outstanding saves at all the right times. That’s one thing I love about goaltenders they control who has the momentum of the game, by making one timely save the momentum swings right back to the Jackets. In the third period we were outshot by the Hurricanees 11-3. Leclaire was there and held us in the game.
Nash was back and everyone was worried about his energy level, well, he looked great to me.
Boll, was Boll, I love when the kid fights and everything, but sometimes, he just does it I think to show boat, and that bothers me.
That’s about all I got for this game, check back tomorrow, when I get back from the game, I’ll have my thoughts on the game.
